Overview

Incedo System Of Insights (SOI) is a platform created to facilitate a connection between KPIs, root causes analysis, and recommended actions. The platform offers KPI tree analysis along with algorithmic accelerators such as anomaly detection, and root cause analyzer to trigger insight recommendations based on KPI movements.

Problem statement

Users’ ability to analyze how a company’s KPIs are doing and if trends are going up or down to generate insights can pose a difficult task, as most products only offer charts and reports.

A dashboard solution with personalized insights can create an intuitive user experience that enables various user groups to consume data easily and become self-sufficient to make the best business decisions.

Challenges

My role

Collaboration with product, leadership, and engineers on requirements, demos and presentation.

Generate solution through rapid prototypes and low fidelity wireframes.

Manage 2 UX-UI designers, overseeing the high-fidelity designs.

Guided the information architecture and language used.

Process

To understand the problem, I conducted a series of interviews with engagement managers and stakeholders to collect insights on how the output of independent modules would inform next steps.

The results led to a series of low fidelity wireframes and user flows to guide the information architecture, and the user experience.

The wireframes helped everyone identify areas where requirements needed clarification, or users would encounter issues navigating the dashboard.


MVP – Alpha version

The KPI trees are monitored for anomalies. Once an anomaly is detected, insights are generated and alerts are sent to the users.

Users visiting the overview page, have a choice to dig through the KPI tree to view an anomaly or click in one of the insights to learn more about the cohorts affected.

MVP – Beta version

The new overview page still provides the insights based on the KPI tree movements,

Moreover, it provides a view into the customer journey funnel, reporting areas where the users are dropping.

Actions and recommendations are generated including an entire AB testing flow.
